A naked women with webbed toes was found sopping wet near a lake calming to be mermaid(a mythical sea creature with the head and trunk of a women and the tail of a fish, conventionally depicted as beautiful with long flowing golden hair) called 'Joanna'.
She told police who found her near casino in Friant, California at 3am on Thursday morning, that she is near water and she needed their help.
Police have issued a photograph of mermaid women in the bid to trace her.
A spokesman for the Fresno police department said that, she don't seem to know who is she-and are calling her a 'Jane Doe' in posters for asking her help to identify her.
