Nokia 8 with dual rear cameras, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 launched

NEW DELHI: HMD Global has finally lifted the lid on Nokia 8, its flagship Android smartphone for this year. 

The Nokia 8 is the fourth 'Nokia' branded smartphone coming this year after the Nokia 6, 5 and 3.

 Priced at EUR 599 (roughly Rs45200), the device definitely comes at a more stratospheric price tag than the Nokia 6.

It will be arriving in select markets starting September.


India price and availability of the device has not been confirmed.

Based on the specifications, HMD Global's Nokia 8 will be going against other flagship smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S8, HTC U11, LG G6 and even the upcoming iPhone 8 and the Galaxy Note 8 to some extent.

Based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the Nokia 8 boasts of a 5.3-inch QHD (2560x1440 pixels) resolution screen with 2.5D curved display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

 The processing power of the smartphone lies with the flagship octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which is complimented by 4GB LPDDR4X RAM.


Like what we saw in the rumours and leaks, the Nokia 8 comes with dual rear camera setup powered by 13MP sensors each. The camera lens comes from Carl Zeiss. 

While the first lens shoots coloured shots with OIS, the secondary rear camera shoots in monochrome.

The primary camera has an aperture of f/2.0 along with PDAF and dual-tone flash. Nokia 8 is also the company's first to come with Nokia OZO audio, which is a 360-degree audio technology for better multimedia experience. 

The cameras can also capture videos in 4K resolution. At the front, there is a 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and display flash.

This is the first time that Maruthi film has been shot in such beautiful locations. Some decent budget has been spent on this much-awaited film which marks the first collaboration of Sharwanand and Maruthi.

Mahanubhavudu has Mehrene as the female lead, and the first look will be out on the 24th of this month.

Sharwanand’s upcoming film in Maruthi’s direction is making brisk progress. The film titled, Mahanubhavudu, is currently being shot in Europe, where songs are being shot on the film’s lead pair Sharwanand and Mehreen.

Recently, the film unit spent quite some time in Croatia, where the film was shot in cities like Zadar, Zagreb and Split. Now, the group has moved to Austria where the film will be shot in stunning locales in the European country. In fact, director Maruthi has been posting quite a few amazing pictures on his Twitter account documenting the journey.

Thaman is scoring the music for the film and UV Creations is producing it.

2 Years Boy was saved from Bore-well: GUNTUR

Two years child was saved from Borewell in Guntur while playing with her friends. That bore well was not used for the past one year.
The toddler was saved after 12 hours he fell into the borewell.
  
The 2 years old child was rescued on Wednesday after 12 hours he fell into the  20 feet borewell of Ummidivaram in Vinnukonda Districtic at Guntur.
Chandra Shekar was the child fell into borewell while playing near, and fell into that around 4:30 pm which was not in use for past 1 year.

He fell into the bore well while playing with other kids where the lid was not closed. It was dug and not closed. It was not visible as the grass was grown sufficiently.  

After rescuing the boy, he was shifted to hospital. A rescue operation was launched by National Disaster Response Force, police and the administration. Oxygen tubes were lowered inside where the boy was trapped. A Carter was being dug parallel to the borewell.

The Blue Whale game or Blue Whale challenge is a game where participants are given a task on a daily basis, where the person is expected to complete the game with in 50 days. A group of admins will be asking the participants to share photos of challenges which are completed by them. The final step of the task is to committing suicide. Jogendra (Rana Daggubati) is a money lender from Uravakonda in Anantapur district. He loves his wife Radha (Kajal) more than anything else in this world. As a mark of respect for his love, he’s called as ‘ Radha Jogendra’. One day Radha is insulted by the Sarpanch’s wife and meets with a personal tragedy. To teach a lesson to the headstrong village head, Jogendra resolves to become Sarpanch. Within no time, he not only becomes Sarapanch but also MLA. With his brilliance at executing stunning plans that upset the opponents at the drop of a hat, Jogendra aspires to reach greater heights, with an ultimate aim to become a Chief Minister. In his journey to adorn the CM position, his life goes through turmoil. Will he achieve the CM post? How he overcomes the obstacles in his path…Has to be witnessed on the screen 



Nene Raju Nene Mantri first half in itself is a shocker. Director Teja surprises us with his gripping narration and differently envisioned scenes. Teja seems to have reinvented himself. Adding fuel to the fire Rana delivered his career’s best role. Jogendra’s multi-faceted characterization with love, street smartness, cruelty and political cunningness have been portrayed well. 




After delivering a great first half, Teja’s script fizzles in the second half with most of the scenes being over the top. Kajal’s death episode is lengthy and tests viewer’s patience. Around 20minutes of the film could be trimmed easily. The climax is superficial. However, there are ample comedy dialogues by Posani and Prabhas Sreenu even in second half. 

Rana as Jogendra is flawless. He emoted very well. Kajal is perfect as Radha. Catherine Tresa as TV reporter added glamour quotient and is super-hot. She played right length role. The casting was just perfect with Navadeep, Posani, Ashutosh Rana performing well.
